HHS-EPA
HHS and EPA recommends we continue fluoridation of our drinking water at .7 ppm. This would be artificial fluoridation with sodium fluoride or silicofuorides.
EPA recommends we adopt a new reference dose for fluoridation of .08 mg of fluoride per kilogram of body weight per day, which for a 70 kg person would be 5.6 mg of fluoride. Assuming the average person drinks 2.0 liters of water per day, this would mean drinking water flouridated at 2.3 ppm.
I demanded that HHS extend the comment period:
HSS must extend the comment deadline – or risk losing all credibility and possible getting sued.
HSS responded to my letter and granted my motion that the hearing deadline be extended to April 15, 2011.
On April 14, 2011, I submitted this demand for an additional extension, both to HHS and EPA, which was not granted. I am posting it here just to show how incompetent HHS is in making its request for comment.
I submitted this Report Card for HHS and EPA, dated April 19, 2011, and updated May 19, 2011.
I submitted this Comment tp HHS and EPA Regarding Lead, Arsenic, and Water Fluoridation, dated April 19, and updated May 19, 2011.

Thank you for your efforts and website. This is an important issue, and I have updated my comments to the CDC/HHS as a result of your information on the comment extension.
