Water Safety Additives Act

Citizens of Port Angeles petitioned their City Council to put the Water Safety Additives Act on the ballot. The City Council refused.

    It seems to me that the anti fluoride supporters must prove that it is harmful to humans, it also appears that difference provided by the statistical analysis of collected data from public record does not influence those that should act.
    The only solution in my mind to prove it harmful or not. The Fluoride should be tested for safety like any other food additive (this has not ever been done to my knowledge…reason enough that it should not go into drinking water until it has)…usually test involves testing laboratory animals at a concentration of 100 times expected ingestion by humans and the test animals should not develop cancers (as a min) over the test period
    Get the result if causes cancers then harm is proved the Fluoride must then be removed from our water supplies…end of problem
